Wandering into Inquiry...

Just like playing video games and trying to get to the next level, we are learning about inquiry and trying to take our learning to the next level.  We are working together to learn about the different phases of inquiry.

Over the next two months we will be working on the different phases of inquiry to investigate either an Atlantic (Grade 6) or a Pacific (Grade 7)bordering country.  Along the way we will be posting answers to questions in the comment section and providing descriptive feedback to our peerss

This blog will provide us with a place where we can collaborate and share our learning as we wander into inquiry....

    I have learned alot about questioning and the rubric. I think I can improve by working harder and not fooling around. I also learned alot about Canada and our rights when we were doing the student exchange thing.

    i found alot of interesting stuff like some history and big blod letters and most of them were colorful, sub-hedings and titles, a glossery and index and a table of contents. some of the books were short and some were long.

    hey my country question: is why does Venezuela have less disadvatage of reacources either than canada. Because canada has more reascources than Venezuela
    -my researching is POOR because ive been away some days
    -i never knew that Venezuela had the largest rodent in there country which is the capybaras

    Country Question: Why do they speak spanish in Cuba?

    Reflect on my research so far: Cuba has alot of differrent nationalities, different food, differrent skin colors, and I would like to learn some of their languages they speak there.

    What have I learned about:
    Canada: That inuit is a first nations group.
    Cuba: That they speak Chinese and other languages other than Spanish.

    Japan recieves 39 or 118 inches of rain,
    canada canadian shield , rocky surrounding in hudson bay and covers half of Quebec

    country question: My country question is why is Jamaica so much hotter then canada, and why does Jamaica have no snow and we do? Rflect on Reflect on my research so far:Jamaica has alot of dofferent things then canada, like their sq feet is waay different then canada`s. They speak spanish and english. What i have learned about that i didn`t know: Canada: i didn`t know Canada had so many treaties back then, and alot of different cultures settled here. Jamaica: i didn`t know that their original language was English and their other language is hard to pronounce.

    I'm learning about Ireland!I would like to know why Ireland has 2 parts(The republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland).In the lower areas of Ireland, get about 35 inches of rain a year, And the higher areas get up to 100 inches. Fact about Canada: Canada in the 2nd largest country 1st is Russia.

    Brittany.W. country question: My country question is.. When was Guatemala discovered.. I haven't found this out quite yet. I pretty much found out alot of other stuff about Guatemala, but i haven't found this question.
